We have specialized in php and mySQL. php is a very powerful programming language, especially designed to develop web applications. To date almost every hosting company offers reasonably priced server space with php and mySQL support. MySQL is a database engine, a very powerful tool to store, manage and retrieve large amounts of data records. Well designed php and mySQL applications are stable, fast, safe, price-worthy and very user-friendly.
Why database integration?
A common static web page is hardcoded using a html or text editor, then uploaded to the web server via FTP (File Transfer Protocol). Whenever the content of that web page is subject to change, the html file has to be edited offline and uploaded again. This is not very convenient and effective. Now imagine that your website is supposed to deliver dynamic content, such as a breakfast menu in the morning, the lunch menu during the day and a dinner menu after 6 p.m., with a rotating early bird special every day except for Sundays and some holidays. Tasks like this can be addressed by programming a database driven web application. All content is stored in the mySQL database and a php script provides the routines for the database access and the output of the query results on your web browser.
